John Reilly Band (JRB) is hands-down one of the best bands Philadelphia has to offer. Tactful harmonies and exquisite violin duets only begins to describe this symphonic folk rock ensemble. Constant Recourse is the Got-Mug in-house band. Quick bass licks, agressive acoustic guitar, and solid drums hold the rhythm for the band but the sweet melodies of the keys and vocals keep things just mellow enough to drink some coffee to. Originals are par for the group but they have also been known to play covers by Switchfoot, Shane Barnard and Mercyme.
But that's not all! There's an open mic and that means you play. Bring a guitar or sit down at the keyboard and play us a song. We're looking forward to hearing you.
